Redrock Acoustics has launched a completely revamped version of SpeaD — a comprehensive loudspeaker design platform that consolidates every subsystem of a driver (motor, voice coil, spider, cone assembly, and system response prediction) into a single unified application. Built on .NET 8 with a modern WPF interface, SpeaD is the successor to the legacy SpeaD that has been a tool of choice for professional loudspeaker engineers for decades.

SpeaD 2026 is in closed beta with engineers at driver and system manufacturers around the world. If you design transducers professionally, I would like your eyes on it — particularly the motor, spider and cone assembly modules, where SpeaD does the most that other tools do not. Beta testers receive a licence at no cost, direct access to me, and their reports shape what gets built next.
