FineCone FEA Evaluation
Finecone is a “speaker specific” FEA modeling software. It uses an axis-symetric 1d model of speaker behaviors and creates frequency response graphs based on the predicted modal behavior. This process is fast and a good first approximation for speaker part designs. We have created linked tools using solid modeling software to seamlessly go between design and prediction in a matter of seconds. This lets us hand optimize cone / edge / cap interaction to smooth breakup related problems.
